• Preliminary statistical information, evaluation of your communication tools, a geographic analysis, a building analysis.
• On-site visit by Church Doctor consultant, Rev. Mike Zehnder.
• Thorough analysis of your church via personal interviews with members and staff.
• Written analysis of the congregation's spiritual health: what you are doing well, and what can be done better. This report also contains all the statistical and historical information about your church, showing trends. The thorough report includes staffing information as well as facilities information. A detailed study pulling all this together provides thorough, spiritual and professional recommendations.
• Oral Report: The consultant will return to your church, after the leadership has received the written report, to give a public presentation of the findings and recommendations. This can serve to insulate the leadership from any negative reaction, and cast the vision throughout the congregation. The consultant will answer any questions and respond to any comments from the members. This is an amazing, catalytic event in the history of your church!
• Action Plans: Based on the recommendations of the consultant, the congregation develops plans of action with goals that are specific, achievable, measurable (SAM) and time-based. We will help hold you accountable to accomplish this and will facilitate a process for your church to produce action plans for each specific recommendation. The consultant will evaluate these plans and help you make them strong directives for action.
• Six month and twelve month follow-up calls with your Church Doctor consultant, Rev. Mike Zehnder
