Melody Line and Lyrics for Bulletins (liturgies, hymns, praise songs) |
There are many reasons to include a melody line with lyrics into bulletins
Visitors and members can follow more easily. No paging around!
Choose songs from many sources, not just the hymnbook or songbook in the pew
People can see the "ups and downs" of the melody even if they can't read music
Congregational singing is much better than when only text is provided
Introducing new songs is much easier and faster because people learn them faster
New members and visitors feel a part of your church much faster
It looks professional and shows you care about worship
TIFFS:
The music on this page is in "TIFF" file format. Once it is saved on your hard drive, it is easily importable into a Word document and other word processing programs, simply by clicking "insert," going to the file you want and double clicking on it. You're done! It can then be moved around and manipulated just like any clipart or picture file. If you are a liturgical church that uses the same liturgy each week, you will only have to do that once because your last bulletin will serve as the template for the next one!
See for yourself:
Please note that the music visible on your computer screen is not the same fine quality you will see in your bulletin. To see what the music will look like in your bulletin, click once on any of the tiffs on this page and follow the instructions in the Popup.
Space-saving:
Godbepraised.com carries tiffs for hymns, liturgies and praise songs. They have been formatted for legal-sized bulletins. One HUGE advantage of tiffs made at Godbepraised.com over tiffs made elsewhere is that they will save you bulletin space because they are designed to be compact, yet readable. Consider, for instance the following melody-line version of "This is the Feast." The melody and words version from the hymnal is 2.25 bulletin pages long! But the Godbepraised.com version requires only 1/2 a page of bulletin space!
Godbepraised!
Praise Songs:
Praise songs are designed to be easy to follow and have built in flexibility so that the song leader can use any pattern desired such as Verse - Chorus - Verse - Chorus - Chorus - Tag:
The following liturgical settings are currently available from Godbepraised.com:
From Lutheran Worship (c) 1982
From Lutheran Book of Worship (c) 1978
From The Lutheran Hymnal (c) 1941
